Year Over for Hornets Santiso
Friday, September 30th, 2033
The doctors have spoken and Roberto Santiso of the Eureka Hornets didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old shortstop is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Santiso sustained his season-ending injury during the Georgia Grays game yesterday at The Death Star. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing the ball. Today the Eureka medical staff reported Santiso had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months.
Santiso is hitting .298 so far this season with 49 RBIs and 98 runs scored. He has 189 hits including 3 home runs, 45 walks and .355 OBP.
