Postseason Bid Ends for Portland Wednesday, September 28th, 2033 The Portland Beavers quite simply didn't have what it took this year. The club was formally eliminated from playoff qualification in 2033. "It feels bad," said Beavers starting pitcher Félix Reina, when asked for his response by reporters. "Having your biggest hopes of the year dashed feels bad." Portland last appeared in the postseason in 2031. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 9 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Beavers have missed the playoffs 2 times. |
