South Carolina's Wallace to Miss Season Thursday, September 22nd, 2033 A blow for Christian Wallace today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 13 months with a damaged elbow ligament. Wallace suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the South Carolina Bombers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Wallace's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Wallace has 51 relief appearances this season with 26 saves. Wallace has also compiled a 2-5 won-lost mark with a 3.02 ERA. In 56.2 innings he has fanned 61. |
