Maple Cruises to Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division Crown Sunday, September 18th, 2033 The Maple Marauders are trying to accomplish something that's never been done before - hosting a ABL World Series parade in the city of Maple. They've taken the first big step, winning the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division title. "We want to win a championship, that's our ultimate goal and something our franchise deserves," said catcher Motonobu Yamasaki. "Our coaches, GM and ownership have been behind us, it's time to make that effort pay off." The club's record sits at 108-37 and it is the 11th time they've won the division title. Team manager Jesús Alfaro said it will be the "accomplishment of a lifetime" if he can lead the team to a championship. "It's what we've been working towards for so long," he said. |
