Burry Day-to-Day with Injury Wednesday, August 31st, 2033 The Hawaii Islanders received some welcome news this morning. They will not need to place third baseman Jim Burry on the disabled list. During yesterday's game against the Quebec Armada, he was injured making a defensive play. The injury, however, is not serious. The Hawaii star performer is listed as day-to-day with a sore wrist. Thus far this season Burry is hitting .291 with 15 home runs, 67 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has 127 hits in 437 at-bats and has played in 118 games. |
