Major Injury Befalls Martin of Georgia Tuesday, August 30th, 2033 It looked bad when it happened during the game. Then, later on, one could tell from the grim faces in the Georgia clubhouse that the team had lost Gabin Martin to a serious injury. Martin, in fact, had sustained a torn labrum throwing a pitch in yesterday's Grays-Jacks game at Skellington Stadium. The starting pitcher's season -- and likely his baseball career -- is over at the age of 29. His record this year is 0-2 in 6 starts and Martin has a 5.40 ERA. |
