Matsumoto Put on Shelf, Listed DTD Tuesday, August 16th, 2033 Kohei Matsumoto of the Havana Stogies was hurt in yesterday's game with the Mafia. He sustained a strained quad while running the bases and will be listed day-to-day. Team doctors said it could be one week before the standout first baseman will be completely healed. He could miss a few games. For the season Matsumoto has produced 51 hits in 138 at-bats for a .370 average with 11 home runs and gotten on base at a .436 clip. |
