Player of the Week Trophy to Zabel Monday, August 15th, 2033 Gerd Zabel demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. The So Cal first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .375 average (12-for-32) with 2 home runs and 12 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Zabel is batting .331 with 26 home runs and 87 RBIs. |
