Jacks Calderón Gone for Year
Tuesday, August 2nd, 2033
The season is finished for Matt Calderón of the Jacksonville Jacks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Jacks reliever suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Dallas Texans. Team doctors said it would take at least 13 months to heal.
This season Calderón has made 5 relief appearances with no saves. His won-lost record is 7-1 with a 3.16 ERA.
