Zabel Awarded July's RCL Top Bat Prize Monday, August 1st, 2033 When Gerd Zabel stepped up to the plate in July he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Roberto Clemente League Batter of the Month award. The young So Cal first baseman posted a .380 batting average with 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 18 runs. Zabel also worked pitchers for 10 walks to post a .452 on-base percentage. In his 2033 season totals, Zabel has 20 home runs, .323 BA, .378 OBP, 65 RBIs and 52 runs scored. |
