Setback for Oklahoma City and Mike Bouffard Monday, July 11th, 2033 Mike Bouffard's return to the Oklahoma City Prowlers has been delayed. The 27-year-old reliever has been in treatment for shoulder inflammation and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Bouffard will not be back as originally diagnosed. He will now be out at least 6 days. Bouffard has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 4-5 record with a 3.73 ERA. The Oklahoma City reliever has limited opposing batters to a .247 batting average. |
