Injury Setback for Texans Lampley Sunday, July 10th, 2033 Tom Lampley was taking it slow and easy nursing a strained rib cage muscle back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Dallas team official, "Tom was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 35-year-old Texans right fielder will be out at least another 5 days. Thus far this season in 72 games Lampley is batting .289 with 1 home run, 26 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He has 76 hits in 263 at-bats. |
