Dan Lewis Out for Season
Tuesday, July 5th, 2033
When Seattle starting pitcher Dan Lewis was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Sasquatch-Beavers game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Lewis had sustained a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 11 months.
This year Lewis has a 1-3 mark in 6 starts with a 4.83 ERA. He has given up 83 hits in 76.1 innings, struck out 43 and issued 35 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .277 batting average against him.
