Day-to-Day Injury Shelves Ramos Thursday, June 30th, 2033 Is Mike Ramos going to tough it out and play through an injury? We'll get the chance to find out 3-4 weeks as the outstanding Georgia first baseman attempts to shrug off a strained oblique he sustained making a defensive play against the Columbus Aces. Whether management lets him play or handles him with kid gloves will depend mostly on how Ramos feels on a day-to-day basis. But there's little doubt that the Georgia Grays will be happy for the talented player to return at full strength as soon as possible. In the current season, Ramos has put up a .293 batting average with 89 hits, 10 home runs, 30 RBI and scored 32 runs. |
