2000th Hit for McCarthy Tuesday, June 28th, 2033 For Todd McCarthy, it was a red-letter day. The Brooklyn Black Knights right fielder slapped his 2000th career hit. That his team defeated the Quebec Armada, 10-2, made it even sweeter. His manager paid tribute to McCarthy after the game: "I've followed Todd since he came into the league," he said.
