Hornets Elliott Rogers to Miss Year

The season is ending on a bad note for Elliott Rogers, reliever for the Eureka Hornets. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Rogers was hurt against the Bloomington Blazers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a damaged elbow ligament and will be out for at least 11-12 months.
This season Rogers has made 35 relief appearances and has 18 saves. His record is 3-6 with 24 strikeouts in 38.2 innings with a 2.79 ERA.
