Red-Hot Trujillo Scorches Aces Sunday, June 12th, 2033 The Columbus Aces might think twice next time about pitching to Javier Trujillo. At Central Park Downtown Stadium today, the Jacksonville Jacks shortstop burned Columbus pitching, going 5-for-6 in a 20-8 Jacksonville triumph. "When he's on his game," Jacksonville skipper Bruce Joyner told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Javier Trujillo singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and hit a three-run double in the 9th.
