Ouch! Steve McBryde Shelved by Injury Tuesday, May 31st, 2033 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Marauders when after today's game against the Pioneers, the club found out they would be without the services of Steve McBryde for at least 6-7 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." McBryde was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered biceps tendinitis. This season McBryde has picked up no saves and posted a 0-3 record with a 4.50 ERA. He has 14 relief appearances, tossed 26 innings and struck out 31. |
