Sunday, May 29th, 2033
Jorge Rivera of the South Carolina Bombers was injured in today's game against San Francisco and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is an oblique strain, and he is expected to be out for up to one week. It happened while Rivera was making a defensive play. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."

This year Rivera has socked 33 hits in 133 at-bats for a .248 average with 1 home run. He is getting on base at a .336 pace and his totals also include 13 RBIs and 20 runs scored.
