TML Player of the Week, Torres of Vancouver Monday, May 23rd, 2033 At the age of 30, Ruben Torres might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Vancouver left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .545 batting average. For his efforts Torres collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 6 games. Torres is currently batting .337 with 12 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
