RCL Player of the Week Goes to White of Columbus Monday, May 16th, 2033 At the age of 32, Doug White might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Columbus designated hitter put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .391 batting average. For his efforts White collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 9 hits in 23 at-bats, 5 home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 6 games. White is presently hitting at a .351 pace with 15 home runs, 36 RBIs and has scored 35 times. |
