Saturday, May 14th, 2033
The San Francisco Earthquakes were dealt a blow today when closer Eddie Rosado left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Rosado has suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury.
Looking at his pitching stats this season, Rosado has made 21 relief appearances, pitched 21.1 innings and fashioned a 0-5 record with a 3.80 ERA. He has recorded 9 saves, struck out 24 and allowed opposing clubs to hit .287 when he is on the hill.
