Season-Ending Injury for Diego Santiago Wednesday, May 11th, 2033 Diego Santiago of the Stogies just might have to call it quits for the season. The 30-year-old Havana starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Brooklyn Black Knights recently at Blue Ivy Stadium. Santiago suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. The Stogies medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 11 months. Checking out his stats for the season, Santiago has notched 4 wins and 1 loss in 8 starts, 4.13 ERA and struck out 38 batters in 48 innings. |
