Kiyonobu Yamasaki Suffers Injury
Monday, May 9th, 2033
It took the South Carolina team doctor a while to realize it, but center fielder Kiyonobu Yamasaki won't simply play through a fractured rib after he got hurt making a defensive play in today's Earthquakes-Bombers game. At first, it looked like Yamasaki might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4 weeks.

So far this season Yamasaki is batting .301 with 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 40 hits in 133 at-bats, 25 walks and a .411 OBP. Yamasaki has played in 34 games.
