Mayne Belts 5 Hits Sunday, May 8th, 2033 5 times is the charm -- at least for Dennis Mayne. The Eureka Hornets center fielder tore up the Mile High Mustangs to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at McNichols Stadium today. The offensive onslaught from Mayne powered the Hornets to a 8-6 win. "Mayne was a tough out today," Mile High manager Dave Callahan said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Dennis Mayne hit a two-run home run off Jose Albertrani in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 10th and hit a solo-shot off Iván Vázquez in the 12th.
