Hit #2000 for Republic Kim Jr. Thursday, April 7th, 2033 He made it! Jong-min Kim Jr. got hit #2000! The Republic third baseman got his milestone hit at House of the Republic against Seattle. But it wasn't enough to bring home the victory. So Cal was beaten by the Sasquatch 9-7. Kim Jr.'s reaction to his accomplishment was nonchalant. He doffed his batting helmet to acknowledge the fans, who were chanting his name. His manager said, "Jong-min doesn't pay any attention to individual statistics, the only thing he cares about is winning. He will be more concerned that we lost the game."
