Mustangs Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Francis Lewis
|
The San Marin Mustangs racked up a win at Ottawa HS Grounds, bumping off the Francis Lewis Patriots, 6-1. Ron Mabie, who started for San Marin, pitched effectively for his team. The save was credited to John King, his 1st. The 4th-place Mustangs improved to 19-25.
Alan Mansy aided the San Marin cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. For the game, the catcher was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
