Chargers Bang Out 9-8 Win Versus Seminole
Seminole catcher Manny Briones had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 9-8, to Topeka West at Attack Ballpark. Briones hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Jim Hansen was the winning pitcher. Over 7.2 innings, he allowed 7 runs on 8 hits, with 8 walks and 9 strikeouts. Joel Alread earned the save, his 2nd.

The Chargers got a big at-bat from shortstop Jonathan Rauh. For the game, Rauh went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Topeka West a 4-2 lead.
