Lions Continue Skid Thanks to Fay, Park
|
College shortstop Brian Fay made his presence felt in the 7-3 Park triumph over the Lerna Lions. Fay was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs. Clint Vollmer earned the save for College, his 8th of the year. The 5th-place Lions have lost 5 straight games.
Henry Hart helped out the College cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the catcher drew 2 walks in 5 plate appearances.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Fay said.
