Tanaka Hits 2 home runs in Armada Win
The Quebec Armada beat the Mile High Mustangs, 7-3, at McNichols Stadium. The Armada got a fine performance from right fielder Kichisaburo Tanaka, who captured player of the game honors. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Adhipa Vemireddy got credit for the win, improving to 10-2. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 6.2 innings. The Armada bumped their record to 46-36 with this latest triumph.

Tanaka had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Armada went on to win.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Tanaka. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
