Wolters Hits 2 home runs in Patriots Win
Jonathan Wolters was instrumental in his team's 7-2 triumph over the Tioga Central Tigers. The first baseman was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the George Washington Patriots. Even with the win, the Patriots have a dismal 9-30 record.

When the Patriots needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Wolters who delivered. Facing Tioga Central pitcher Ranger Elliott the bottom of the first with a runner on 2nd, Wolters hit his 5th home run of the year. It made the score 4-0.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Wolters told the George Washington Times.
