Pleasantville second baseman Bruce Allison was instrumental in his team's 8-7 win over the Riverside Poly. Allison, who is tied for 4th in the HAL in extra base hits with 20, went 3-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Panthers. The Panthers bumped their record to 23-15 with this latest triumph.

Juan Velasco was the walk-off hero for Pleasantville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Panthers right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Allison said.
