Multi-HR Game for Murray in 9-3 Win
The Lerna Lions topped the Canby Lancers, 9-3, with youngster Danny Murray playing a key role. Murray slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for the Lions in the win. The win was Ernst Utting's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Matt Lira took the loss for Canby. Lerna now has a 4-game win streak.

Lerna took advantage of an error in the bottom of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Jaime Summers hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Lerna in front, 3-2.

"I really like what we did out there today," Murray said after the game.
