Mustangs Roll to 8-2 Win Over Chargers
The Downsview Mustangs and starting pitcher Bill Brewer stifled the Topeka West offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at Breakers Ballpark. Brewer got the win, improving to 2-3. He allowed 6 hits and walked 6 over 7.2 innings. Brewer allowed 2 earned runs. With the victory, the Mustangs record now stands at 16-20.

Karl Holman, who is the 2nd-best prospect in the Mustangs organization, chipped in for Downsview with a 2-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
