Stogies Come Back Late to Clip Black Knights
The Havana Stogies defeated the Brooklyn Black Knights, 6-4, in Roberto Clemente League action at Blue Ivy Stadium, with Havana pitcher Ijaz Kharoti named player of the game. Ti-an Dan got the save, his 2nd in 2 chances. The Stogies own a robust 59-26 mark.

The Stogies got a big at-bat from second baseman Narihira Murakami. For the game, Murakami went 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the ninth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 5th hit of the season gave Havana a 6-4 lead.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Murakami. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
