Patriots Lose, 5-2, at Ballpark of Ecatepec HS
|
The Lerna Lions picked up a win at Ballpark of Ecatepec HS, knocking off the George Washington Patriots, 5-2. Starting pitcher Jacob Olsen was an essential part of his team's success. The Patriots, at 7-28, have lost 11 straight games.
The Lions took the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the seventh. Danny Murray had the clutch at-bat. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single.
"This losing is getting old," said George Washington manager Frank Robles.
