The Tioga Central Tigers beat the Tenafly Tigers, 7-0, at Ballpark of León HS. The Tigers got a fine performance from second baseman Aaron Blaise, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Tioga Central reliever Preston Wilson picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. Kenny Behnke was collared with the loss. Sam Foresee earned the save, his 1st, for the Tigers.

Marcus Francis aided the Tioga Central cause with a 2-run single in the top of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said Tioga Central skipper Gabriel McKinnes.
