Vampires Lose Again, 7-5, to Chargers

Topeka West played host to Santa Clara at the friendly confines of Breakers Ballpark.
The Topeka West Chargers beat the Santa Clara Vampires, 7-5, at Breakers Ballpark. The Chargers got a fine performance from left fielder Dustin Noah, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The current losing streak for Santa Clara has reached 6 games.
Eddie Lannigan, who is tied for 2nd in the PRL in home runs with 15, aided the Topeka West cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder drew 1 walk.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Noah told the Topeka West Chronicle.
