Mustangs Drop Panthers with Late Score
San Marin shortstop Stephen Todino played a vital role in his team's 8-5 triumph over Pleasantville. He was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for San Marin. San Marin reliever Joe Jackson picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Larry Newhouser took the loss. The Mustangs sit in 4th place in the Hank Aaron League Willie Mays Division with a record of 15-19.

Todino had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Larry Newhouser, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Mustangs a 8-5 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Todino.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Todino.
