William Nowell made an impact in the 14-5 Downsview win over Canby. Nowell, who is tied for 4th in the PRL in total bases with 100, went 3-6 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Manny Andino got the win, improving to 1-4. He worked 7 innings, giving up 2 runs on 10 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. The Mustangs raised their record to 14-19.

The result might have been different for Downsview, had it not been for Peyton Miller. The center fielder produced a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put the Mustangs ahead, 3-1. For the game, Miller had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Nowell told the Downsview News.
