Indians Stun Warhawks, 8-3
The Jefferson Indians picked up a win at Ballpark of Monterrey HS, knocking off the Seminole Warhawks, 8-3. Starting pitcher Teguh Sukarno, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Sukarno went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 11 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 5-1. Jefferson has an impressive 20-10 record.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when designated hitter Jonathan Grindstaff hit a single. The Indians went on to win.

"Feels good to get the job done," Sukarno said after the game.
