Wakeman Helps Golden Bears Run Win Streak to 4
Billings West third baseman Kyle Wakeman made his presence felt in the 14-7 Golden Bears triumph over the Santa Clara Vampires. Wakeman was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Joey Cabler got the win, improving to 4-0. He held the Vampires to 6 earned runs on 6 hits over 7.2 innings, while striking out 8 and walking 3.
