The Tioga Central Tigers defeated the Derby Panthers, 9-8, at Alleycats Ballpark. Tioga Central left fielder Jesse Sheehy was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 4-4 with 4 singles. He scored 2 times. Tioga Central reliever Mathieu Cantone picked up the win to move to 2-0. Jason Hazzard suffered the loss. Tioga Central has now won 6 straight, while the Panthers have lost 4 in a row.
