Tipton Lifts Poly to 17-5 Triumph
The Riverside Poly defeated the Carl Albert Titans, 17-5, at Zebras Ballpark. Riverside designated hitter Andrew Tipton was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. The Poly bumped their record to 17-12 with this latest triumph.

When the Poly needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Tipton who delivered. Facing Carl Albert pitcher Chris Taylor the top of the fourth with a runner on 2nd, Tipton hit his 3rd home run of the year. It made the score 4-1.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Tipton.
