Crabbe Hurls Complete Game at Ballpark of Monterrey HS
|
The Jefferson Indians got a stellar effort from pitcher Bill Crabbe, helping Jefferson score a 3-1 win over the visiting Central Tech Blues. Jefferson is now 19-9, 2½ games up in the Hank Aaron League Willie Mays Division.
Crabbe's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 9 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 2 hits. Crabbe, who is tied for 2nd in the HAL with a 2 complete games, goes to 3-3 on the year with 38 strikeouts.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Crabbe.
