Stogies Win at Brooklyn, 8-3
|
The Havana Stogies trumped the Brooklyn Black Knights, 8-3, at Blue Ivy Stadium. Havana designated hitter Garin Renzenbrink was named player of the game for his performance. He went 3-5 with a triple and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Camilo Pascual picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed 1 earned run on 3 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 1-0. Havana leads the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division by 8 games.
