Swallows Continue Skid Thanks to Greenstein, Bay Stars
The Yokohama Bay Stars topped the Tokyo Yakult Swallows by the score of 10-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Jim Greenstein. Greenstein went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Bay Stars on the day. Asakichi Oide got the win, improving to 1-1. He worked 5 innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. Yi She nailed down his 1st save.

Greenstein had a key at-bat for Yokohama early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Yokohama an early 3-0 lead.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Tokyo Yakult manager Rob Lewis.

Yokohama, now 6-4, has gotten their season off to a good start.
