Tanaka Helps Yokohama Cruise to 13-1 Win
With catcher Seizaburo Tanaka leading the charge, the Yokohama Bay Stars defeated the Hiroshima Toyo Carp, 13-1, at Frogs Ballpark. Tanaka went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 3. Taisei Saito nailed down his 1st save. At 4-2, the Bay Stars have played well so far.

The Bay Stars got a big at-bat from second baseman Jim Greenstein. For the game, Greenstein went 1 for 5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Yokohama a 2-0 lead.
