The Havana Stogies thumped the Mile High Mustangs, 13-2, at McNichols Stadium. Garin Renzenbrink was a big reason his team got the win. Renzenbrink hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Havana goes to 57-25. The win puts them 8½ games up in their division.

Kohei Matsumoto, who was drafted in the two round of the 2023 draft, aided the Havana cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Matsumoto, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
