Multi-HR Game for Andrews in 18-8 Win
The Billings West Golden Bears topped the Tenafly Tigers, 18-8, with right fielder Moses Andrews playing a big role. Andrews was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Golden Bears in the win. Brian Heckard earned his 3rd save in 3 tries. Billings West is now 12-15, while Tenafly is 11-16.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the second, with the game tied, David Keeley was at the plate when Billings West scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Golden Bears to go in front, 3-2.

Keeley expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
